Horse Trek With Us
We offer guided horse-riding trails throughout the summer season (December–April).
The Native Tuna Trail is ideal for beginners and families, providing a gentle and enjoyable introduction to riding.
For intermediate and advanced riders, the Tuna Trail Journey and Ocean Panorama to Beach Ride offer more adventure and breathtaking views.
Our Calm Bay Ocean Swim is a standout experience. Some riding experience is recommended, but feel free to contact us if you’re unsure.
Our Yurt

The yurt sits beside a small stream and mature tōtara trees on a 25-acre property, with decks and boardwalks connecting the kitchen, bathhouse, and outdoor bath.
Inside, the yurt is calm and inviting. Timber latticework and soft canvas create a warm glow, and the king bed, sofa, armchair, and large jute rug make the space roomy and comfortable. There is a wood fire inside the yurt, to keep you warm on cooler days and nights.

Our farmstay features a cosy self-contained studio perfect for couples, complete with a comfortable king bed and an adjoining outdoor bathroom.
If you’re travelling with more than two people, you can also add our charming, rustic, newly renovated Kingfisher Caravan. Set up for two guests with one king single and one small single bed, it’s positioned close to the daily happenings of farm life.
